Natural Face Lotion Recipe
20 grams emulsifying wax
7 grams stearic acid
1 gram citric acid
380 grams distilled water
Heat in microwave until you cannot feel anything chunky or granular.
45 grams Golden Jojoba Oil
10 grams Evening Primrose Oil
12 grams Fractionated Coconut Oil
5 grams Apricot Kernel Oil
2 grams Natural Vitamin E Oil
10 grams Liquid Glycerin
3.8 grams Germaben II or 4.0 grams of Optiphen ND
2.5 grams Lavender 40/42 Essential Oil
.5 grams Peppermint Essential Oil
Weigh out all ingredients and set aside. Add all of the first paragraph into an 87 ounce bucket.
Heat all of your first paragraph ingredients in an 87 ounce bucket in the microwave until all chunks are melted and you cannot feel anything granular upon checking. Next add in all the rest of your ingredients and whip/stir using a stick/hand blender until your lotion begins to thicken. Transfer into lotion bottles of your choice. Note: you will not want the lotion to thicken too much if you are pouring into a lotion bottle. Recipe makes 16 fl oz.
