Whipped Cream Lotion W/ Babbassu & Meadowfoam Oil

 Whipped Cream Lotion
featuring  Babassu oil and Meadowfoam  oil.

11.04 ounces distilled water
1.6 ounces Babassu Oil
1.6 ounces Meadowfoam Oil
0.8 ounces Macadamia Nut Oil
.48 ounces Emulsifying Wax
0.16 ounces Liquid Glycerin
0.16 ounces Stearic Acid
0.08 ounces Germaben II or
0.1 ounces of Optiphen ND
0.08 ounces Fragrance Oil or Essential Oil

Weigh out your water, emulsifying wax, stearic acid & heat for approximately one minute in the microwave or double boiler method heat until all the waxes have completely melted. Next weigh out your Babassu oil, Meadowfoam oil, Macadamia Nut oil & add them to the already heated mixture of waxes & water. Whip it with a stick/hand/immersion blender. Add the Germaben II or Optiphen ND, Liquid Glycerin & fragrance or essential oil & continue to whip. As it cools it will thicken. Note this is very light & fluffy that is why we referenced Whipped Cream. Recipe makes 16 ounces so make sure you have enough bottles on hand to transfer your finished product into. We prefer using a lotion bottle vs. a jar. This recipe is super light & fluffy, a bottle with a pump top would be ideal for packaging.
